VEHICLE TYPE
Bring It Now has orders for all types of vehicles, from passenger cars to trucks and cargo vans. See our vehicle types below to learn more about the work you will be eligible for:
COURIER
Courier vehicles are able to deliver small parcels, packages, and documents. Drivers of courier vehicles may also act as a helper on an order that requires multiple delivery pros. As a helper, they will assist with loading and unloading. They are prohibited from carrying cargo. Work ordered for trucks and cargo vans are much too large for passenger vehicles, including SUVs, minivans, and hatchbacks.
PICK UP TRUCKS
A standard pickup truck has a bed length of 5- 8 feet. Pickup trucks should have a bed length of at least 5 feet. Trucks with shortened lengths or widths, may not qualify for the “pickup truck” classification on the Bring It Now platform. Any standard trucks that don’t meet the 5 ft. requirement are still eligible to join Bring It Now as couriers .
CARGO VANS
Full size Cargo Van are delivery vehicles with no passenger seats behind the driver cab. Minivans, SUVs, passenger vans, and compact cargo vans do not have enough cargo space to accept Bring It Now cargo van work orders. Smaller cargo vans that do not qualify for the “Cargo Van” classification are:
- Ford Transit Connect
- Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo
- Ram ProMaster City
- Mercedes-Benz Metris
- Chevy City Express
If you drive one of these you will be able to accept courier projects and assist as a loading/unloading helper on large moves
BOX TRUCKS
Bring It Now accepts a range of box trucks on the platform, commonly between 10 and 26 feet. If you have a box truck that is less than 10 ft, you may apply under the Cargo Van vehicle type.
VEHICLE AGE
Your vehicle must be 15 years old or newer and presentable. Also must have proper inspection and be registered, insured and safe for the road. Once approved Bring It Now will required proper documents to prove state inspection, insurance and registration for your vehicle is in order and up to date. Also pictures of your vehicle will be required to pass visual inspection. Body damage or safety concerns might require repair before continuing on the Bring It Now platform.
EQUIPMENT
Bring It Now strongly suggests that all delivery pros have ratcheting straps and moving blankets to protect and secure their cargo. Some jobs require additional special equipment. Consider investing in a furniture, appliance or moving dolly to be eligible for more projects. A regular hand truck dolly is the most commonly requested piece of extra equipment.
Bring It Now mandatory securing instructions
It is extremely important to know how to secure and protect all items you handle. Being a professional at securing items is a must. Wrapping with moving blankets and securing with ratchet straps is a requirement for all moves. Also it is important to take a picture of the items after you have secured them to have proof of proper transport.
Depending on the weight and length of your cargo, the number of straps vary. According to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, they state that you only use one tiedown if your cargo is shorter than 5 feet and less than 1,000 pounds. All items moved by Bring It Now will be under 250 pounds unless specified. This means we will be using at least one ratchet strap for securing cargo. It is mandatory to know and be a pro at how to use ratchet straps.

How to Tighten a Ratchet Strap Instructions
1. From the bottom of the ratchet strap slowly thread
the webbing through the slot in the center of the spool of the closed
ratchet.
2. Next pull the webbing through and remove the excess slack or loose webbing to make a firm but not tight webbing.
3. Begin to crank the ratchet handle up and down to
tighten the ratchet strap in to place. You will want to make sure the
item you are transporting is snug, however not too tight that it damages
your cargo you are transporting.
How to Loosen a ratchet strap instructions
1. To release the ratchet strap, pull and hold the tab on top of the ratchet assembly to override the ratcheting function.
2. Open the Ratchet until it is completely open and the ratchet is laying flat.
3. Grab the polyester tie down webbing from the nonfixed side and begin to pull the webbing to release.
4. Pull and hold the release tab on top of the ratchet to close the ratchet.
What is breaking strength?
Breaking strength is also known as the ultimate amount of strength that
can be applied to traditionally the tie-down strap or ratchet strap
before the breaking point of the tie down can no longer withstand any
more strength and breaks. This is one of the leading ways that ratchet straps
are tested to make sure they are indeed safe. The breaking strength
should never be the determining factor if your tie down straps can hold
the weight or force of your load. You should always refer to the Working
Load Limit when working with tie down straps as this is what the
Department of Transportation requires for all tie-down guidelines to
keep you safe. You can find more information about the Cargo Securement
Rules and Guidelines by the Department of Transportation located here
Our Mission
To bring the best quality and professional on-demand delivery service to our community. This is done by connecting Driver Pros and Helpers together with customers through the Bring It Now platform.
How does Bring It Now work?
It is a mobile app that instantly helps move, haul and deliver items locally by connecting background checked Driver Pros and helpers to people in need. Driver Pros and helpers are all 1099 independent contractors. This means you set your own hours and work as much or as little as you want.
Driver Pro and Helper
- A Driver Pro is an independent contractor who owns their own pickup truck, cargo van or box truck. Driver Pros can work one person deliveries or two person deliveries where a helper will be assigned.
- A helper/ courier can either deliver smaller parcels and items or assist in a two person lift and haul. Helper accepts jobs and meets the Driver Pros at the pickup location to assist in loading then follows to the unload location to help finish the job.
Pricing through estimator
- Customers get an upfront estimate of the Bring It Now before they book the job. Pricing is set by the app based on a number of variables. These prices are non negotiable and you should not negotiate with the customer. If a customer tries to negotiate have them call our Support Team.
Scheduled Time
- The customer picks the time so there is no waiting around all day for their delivery. If you accept a job be sure you can help at the time given and be on time.
Communication
- You have direct communication with the customer through the app. If there are ever any question or details needed you will be able to message the customer. All communication should be done through the app to keep record of conversations to help in any situations that might occur.
How do we assign Bring It Now jobs?
- You will be alerted on the app when a new job is posted by a customer. You can review the details of the job and swipe to accept the job. If it requires a second person, you will be added to the job then paired with a helper who will meet you at the pickup location. You are able to message the helper in the app after you both accept the job.
Rating system
- Each Driver Pro and Helper are rated by the customer after every job. Everyone starts with a five star rating. To stay on the Bring It Now platform you must maintain a 4 out of 5 star rating. Performance does matter.
How much will you make?
- The amount shown on the job is the amount you will be making. The amount the customer pays includes your pay plus the Bring It Now platform fee to support your business. Two person moves will be split 60% for the Driver Pro and 40% for the helper. All tips are 100% yours. On two person moves the tips are split 50/50 unless otherwise specified by the customer.
When do I get paid?
- The pay period is Sunday through Saturday. All earning during this period are paid directly into your checking account on the following Wednesday.
How to handle situations that may arise
- You are the face of Bring It Now. Even though we promise a 5 star experience from Bring It Now things don't always go as planned. Your reaction to situations can make or break an experience for the customer. Always stay focused on customer service and getting the job done right.
- You are expected to be on time but if you are going to be late to the pickup location always contact the customer and let them know your estimated time of arrival. Keeping honest and on the same page as the customer makes for a better experience even with delays.
Weather
- Always be prepared for inclement weather. Be prepared with lots of tarps, blankets, moving bands and ratchet straps to keep items dry and protected.
Keep your vehicle clean
- Keeping the cargo area clean will make sure no items get dirty or damaged. Wrapping items in blankets and tarps will always protect them.
Making adjustments to jobs
- If you ever show up to a job and the items do not match the original job description. For example, there are more items or there is a set of stairs that was not mentioned. We recommend bringing it to the customers attention right away and adjusting the quoted estimate to add those items or obstacles onto the bill. Always have the customer approve the adjustments before proceeding. It is helpful to contact the customer to ask if there are any details you need to know beforehand.
- If you can not accommodate the extra items, inform the customer that you are able to move the original items on the estimate. At that time the customer will need to order pr post another Bring It Now job to haul the rest of the items.
Relisting a Job
- If you have accepted a job and for some reason can not follow through with the delivery, you must first let the customer know you will be relisting, then relist immediately. Some customers might be able to reschedule with you at a later time. Always communicate the change to the customer so there is no surprises. Relisting puts the job back out on the platform for other Driver Pros or helpers to accept. This is not a good habit for it creates a negative experience for the customer.
- A Driver Pro or helper that does this often will be warned. After 3-5 warnings this can lead to deactivation from the platform.
- Make sure to always read all the details of the every job (time, date, items, location, etc.) before you swipe and accept.
- Only accept jobs you are 100% committed to and are clear on the details.
- Know your schedule and plan ahead
- Make sure you have the tool and equipment needed for the job you accept.
By signing up as an independent contractor with Bring It Now, you agree that if any item or property is damaged while in your care, you are responsible for up to the amount Bring It Now pays out for any damages caused by you.
Here are some tips to make sure you keep the money you earn
- Always do an inspection of the item before moving and take photos before, after its properly wrapped and strapped, and after the move. Taking in to account any prior damage or minor flaws. Confirm with the customer if there is damage present before the move.
- Walk the area the item will be moved through at pickup and drop off, taking pictures of any existing damage to walls, floors, or doorways prior to the move.
- We do not authorize any hoisting or lifting items over balconies or stairways. If the customer requests this it is not covered by liability, contact support.
- If there is ever a safety risk, please put your safety first. Your health and well being is most important.
- If you feel like you will damage any items or injure yourself, STOP!, Apologize and explain the situation to the customer and contact support. We can help with waiving liability or cancel the move if necessary. (We can only help if contacted before any damage if done not after)
- If you and the customer agree to proceed regardless of damage , get it in writing ( this can be done through the messaging function in the app) before doing anything.
- Contact support and message the customer in the app. Do Not proceed until they respond and agree.
What to do if damage does occur?
- Take photos of any damage and report it to the customer ASAP. The more pictures and information the better.
- You are the front line of the solution , if you feel you are able to repair damages on your own, you can offer that as an option to the customer. In those cases there will be no deduction in pay.
- If the customer prefers to start a claim, or is something you can't repair, report the damage to Support and ask customer to contact support to start a claim.
- The Claims team will reach out to you and the customer for extra details to handle the claim.
- Driver Pros and helpers are required to be able to lift at least 75 pounds to be eligible to work on the platform. If you are unable to meet this requirement contact support@bringitnow.net
Store/Marketplace/Craigslist/etc. pickups

- Driver Pros are suggested to have plenty of tarps, moving blankets, moving bands, and ratcheting straps. Dolly's, Basic tools, Doorstops, measuring tape, shrink wrap, forearm moving straps, are all suggestions but not required. The more tools and equipment you have the easier it will be to accommodate the move.
